Experience

For over ten years, I have worked as an education specialist for children with visual impairments for various school districts in the state of California. I have developed individual education plans, adapted to the needs of each child with CVI, and provided direct services to help them achieve their goals.

My dedication to teaching and supporting students with high needs has helped me develop a broad base of knowledge and concentration in the areas of: Cortical Visual Impairment, Ocular Visual Impairment, Orientation and Mobility, Multiple Disabilities, Impairments sensory, including Deafblindness, and comprehensive literacy for students with significant disabilities.
